Deutsches Museum MUNICH (audi )

alcoa (J.Mays)

I enjoy a broad range of disciplines / skills that are a direct result of years on camera, directing and managing A team of professionals to create the best images possible. The AUDI collection shot in Munich, still to this day, represents a refined use of large 40’ lightboxes to render elegant or strong lines of very unique and historically significant brands. On the other end I’ve been sought for my vision when creating high end studio still life compositions, especially when the image has plenty of room to breath.

dhl latin america (Ogilvy Mather Mexico)

The Lincoln client couldn’t move the new AVIATOR SUV to Mexico City, so the series had to be shot in two pieces - fortunately we found native landscapes that worked well for the four Ads. Putting projects together on the other side of the planet has its moments — even moreso for Mexico where budgets and production demands can be a challenge — with agency creatives always chasing great ideas.. and my job is to come up with the solutions.

Same can be said for this rain storm created for DHL in a remote desert landscape - where the local team who did SF on the film TITANIC worked with simple tools to create a torrent of rain. One in a series that included a snow storm, high heat and a dust storm – all created on budget and on schedule.

LINCOLN AVIATOR (LANDOR)

OPEL AG (McCaan Erickson Frankfurt)

My studio work seeks the lines and curves of sheet metal as the car designer intended. ALways fairly graphic.. a direct result of working with print designers that are always trying to balance line and shape.. with content. Studio packages would need all angles of beauty work achieved, and as budgets tightened, staging a late night beauty shot nearby meant production had to be buttoned up. Buick Century, AUDI’s sedans, Lincoln and Jaguar, all of them brought me to the table to create premium, brand supporting images in studio.

During the dead of winter and with no budget to head to Spain, Opel GERmany sought a specialized technique that would give them strong, graphic imagery while maintaining control over tones and primary colours during poor seasonal weather conditions. The film based images were created for McCaan Frankfurt in support of both print ad and brochure concepts. The images were created Over a six week production, moving the full line of Opel’s Astra through the studio and ultimately rig motion on location - Employing a bit of this and that to bring the economy brand to life.

VOLKSWAGEN (SHR)

Under the direction of Dennis Merrit, a creative powerhouse at SHR, we began work on collateral materials to support the new VW Bug — known at the time as the CONCEPT ONE. We created a story around the nostalgia of the original BUG and the VW Van — warm sun, West Coast California, blue oceans, waves and sufboards. We had one of the earliest Bugs available to us, and this shot was made looking out the very distinctive, back window.
